Maternity Film: Hummingbird Nest Ranch

I did something a little different this weekend. I filmed a beautiful couple talking about their excitement, expectations and journey of their soon to be baby son. Leslie and Brandon are so sweet and great together. We couldn't have asked for a more amazing place to shoot. Hummingbird Nest Ranch is in Simi Valley and is the beauty I've come to love about California. Films like this are cute now, but what is really special about them is how their meaning will grow over time. The start of an amazing journey and I wish you the best!

Beautiful Wedding at the Seawell Ballroom in Denver // Sarah + Nathan

Weddings are filled with happiness, fun, dancing, love and so much more. This wedding had it all. But mostly, it had the most adorable, compatible, and loving couple I have ever met. Sarah and Nathan. 

It was a beautiful wedding that started at the Four Seasons in Denver and ended at the Seawell Ballroom. Every detail was thought out and had a little bit of Sarah and Nathan in them. Best of luck for the two of you!

Romantic Sanctuary Golf Course Wedding // Elise + Nick

Elise and Nick are my favorite. I've never seen so many smiles on the wedding day and her son is the most adorable dude ever. Their notes to each other were so precious and it reminds why a film is the perfect way to capture your wedding. You can hear the emotion in each word, and watching this again ten, twenty, fifty years down the road it will mean so much more. 

I loved shooting at the Sanctuary Golf Course. The views are second to none and it really shows how amazing Colorado can be no matter the season. So glad they braved the cold to share their love.

I was recently hired to come out to Sanibel Island for this amazing wedding venue, Casa Ybel. It is a quiet island and Casa Ybel is the only resort here where you can get married right on the beach! Beautiful Boca Raton Wedding // Marcy + Wetteny

I love the beach, I love the sand, I love the water, and I love when people get married near it! Marcy and Wetteny got ready at the Boca Raton Resort before having their wedding at The Addison which is just one of the most beautiful places I have every shot, The giant trees framing the ceremony add so much life. Destination weddings are great because we get a little more time to spend everyone and really get to know the couple and their family. This family was full of love energy, and twins!

Rainy wedding at the Garden of the Gods Club // Carlyn + Kagan

Rain is a beautiful thing sometimes, and sometimes it is not. But it is most beautiful at weddings when it comes down early in the day, and then the skies part for beautiful outdoor sun drenched ceremony. Carlyn and Kagan Got married at the Garden of the Gods Club in Colorado Springs. The view is second to none, and so was the love. Enjoy watching their wedding film below!

Lindsey and Bryan // Thanks to You

Wow, There couldn't have been a cuter bride, and a more generous and kind groom on this day. Lindsey is more Lindsey when she is around Bryan, and Bryan is more Bryan when he is around Lindsey. While Denver weather seems to threaten weddings this time of year, they waited out the storm to have one of the most beautiful ceremonies I've seen on the rooftop of the Four Seasons Hotel. So excited for these two to get started.

Sarah and Drew // Noodle Till the End of Time

When I get asked "Michael, if you could do video of anything, what would it be?" They are always surprised when I say "Weddings." There is something about watching a couple go from nervous laughter while getting ready, to tears before they walk down the isle, to smiles that wont stop after the ceremony. It is all amazing, just like Sarah and Drew. Sarah love every moment of the day. She kept asking me "Isn't this place amazing?! Aren't my bridesmaids awesome?! I love him so much, isn't he just incredible?" Yes. Yes to all of it. Drew was calm and collected all the way up until he read his vows, where we could all tell how much each of those words meant to him. All of this was topped off by the incredible views of Arrowhead Golf Course and the beautiful details and finishing touches. I would like to introduce you now to Sarah and Drew.

Rebecca and Nate // I Choose You

Nate and Rebecca are adorable together, You can tell just by the way they look at each other. This incredible wedding was at Della Terra in Estes Park. They came in from Minnesota and brought both their love and accents with them. What an incredible start to the 2012 wedding season.

Maria rocks. She has an awesome smile. Maria wanted a short 30 second clip to play when people visited her website to show them how much fun it would be to have her at their wedding. Its easy to see that she loves what she does and she puts her heart into every image. The wedding was at the Manor House in Littleton, and that is an incredible venue.

Behind the Scenes: A Four Seasons Wedding

We wanted to do something really special to show of the hard work, time, and precision it takes to set up a once in a lifetime event at the Four Seasons Hotel in Denver. A time lapse was our answer. It takes around nine hours from start to finish to go from an empty room to a dream venue. I had a blast because normally I only spend a half hour documenting the set up process to give a feel for a wedding day. Getting video of nine hours of set up I really understood what venues and vendors do to make this an incredible experience. Here are some of the amazing vendors involved. Mario Masitti Studios: Behind the Scenes

Quality. It is what I think of when I think of Mario. It is one of the reasons I love working with him. This was the promotional behind the scenes video for his 2013 high school seniors. We wanted to show the experience that you get when working with him. Everything from the makeup, to the choosing of concepts and outfits, to the actual shoot. We started in downtown before heading out to Littleton for some epic looks in an open field. I love doing these behind the scenes videos because it gives their clients the ability to know what it is like to work with you. It lets them know how much fun they will have and how great the experience will be. That in itself, is invaluable.  

Jesse Weiner // Denver Promotional Videographer

Jesse Weiner is a bicoastal photographer I met when visiting a friend in Boston. Not only was I inspired by the amazing work he did, but I was impressed with his professionalism, his way of working with clients, and his need to create beautiful images. He has been hired by Billy Bell to photograph dancers in his Lunge Dance Collective around the States. One of these locations was Denver. It was great to have him stay for a few days and watch him work with six incredible dancers in my studio. I put together a short promotional/behind the scenes for his website while he was down. Eli is a wedding photographer up in Boulder who does some amazing work. Eli wanted a behind the scenes video to give his future clients an idea of what it is like to shoot with him. We went with something upbeat and fun because thats exactly what it is like to shoot with him. Promotional videos like these are great to set yourself apart. Video is so intriguing and interactive, people love to just sit and watch what their experience is going to be like.

Kimberly and James // Stronger than Most

Kimberly and James had their incredible stunning wedding in Arizona. All the details from cute flowers in Corona beer bottles to string lights at the reception really brought a feeling of love and uniqueness. This also the second wedding I have done video for where all the bridesmaids wore cowboy boots. Love the style.

Besides being absolutely gorgeous, Kimberly and James bounce off each other so well. That girl code, the unspoken language between women, well they have their own... x2! It was so much fun being apart of this, and they had the perfect end to the perfect day.

Makeup by Yildiz // Denver Promotional Videographer

This is a short makeup commercial for independent makeup artist Yildiz. it was filmed during a beauty photoshoot in Phoenix, Arizona by Jen Kelley. The goal here was to create a thirty second spot for her to put her website to get clients excited about working with her. For more info about the artist you can see her work here,

ProDPI // Denver Commercial Videographer

The other half of my business is photography, and when you want the best for your clients, that includes print quality. ProDPI is a lab now based in Denver that does absolutely stunning work, from their beautiful cards, to their epic bamboo prints. They do a number of trade shows every year and needed a video to show off their production facility during their travels. This video takes you through what goes into the process from the time a customer clicks print to the time it is loaded onto the truck for shipping.
